Structural characteristics of impact crusher

hx vertical impact crusher is composed of seven parts: feed hopper, distributor, whirling crushing chamber, impeller body, main shaft assembly, base, transmission device and motor

1. Feed hopper

the structure of the feed hopper is an inverted pyramid (or cylinder), and the feed inlet is equipped with a wear ring, and the incoming material from the feeding equipment enters the crusher through the feed hopper

2. The distributor

the distributor is installed on the upper part of the whirl crushing chamber. The function of the distributor is to divert the materials from the feed hopper, so that part of the materials are straight through the central feeding pipe. 4. Untrained personnel prevent the operation. The machine is connected to the impeller and is gradually accelerated to a higher speed for ejection, so that another part of the materials are fed from the center. In terms of investment, the outside of the pipe and the bypass enters the outside of the impeller in the whirl crushing chamber, The high-speed materials ejected from the impeller impact and crush, without increasing power consumption, increasing production capacity and improving crushing efficiency

3. Whirl crushing chamber

the structural shape of whirl crushing chamber is an annular space composed of upper and lower cylinders. The impeller rotates at high speed in the whirl crushing chamber, and materials can also reside in the whirl crushing chamber to form a material lining. The crushing process of materials takes place in the whirl crushing chamber, and the material lining separates the crushing effect from the whirl crushing chamber wall, so that the crushing effect is limited to materials, playing the role of wear-resistant self lining. The observation hole is to observe the wear of the wear-resistant block at the launching port of the impeller channel and the wear of the lining plate at the top of the whirl crushing chamber. When the crusher works, the observation hole must be sealed tightly at the same time. The distributor is fixed on the upper cylindrical section of the vortex crushing chamber. The impeller rotates at a high speed to generate air flow, which forms an internal self circulation system through the distributor and impeller in the vortex crushing chamber

4. Impeller

the impeller structure is a hollow cylinder made of special materials, which is installed on the shaft head at the upper end of the main shaft assembly. The conical sleeve and key are used to connect the transmission button distance, and it rotates at high speed. The impeller is the key component of HX vertical impact crusher. Materials enter the center of the impeller through the central feeding pipe of the distributor at the upper part of the impeller. The distribution cone in the center of the impeller evenly distributes the materials to each launch channel of the impeller. At the exit of the launch channel, wear-resistant blocks made of special materials are installed, which can be replaced. The impeller accelerates the material to the speed of m/s and shoots it out, impacting the material lining in the whirling crushing chamber for strong self crushing. Upper and lower flow passage plates are installed between the cone cap and the wear-resistant block to protect the impeller from wear

5. The main shaft assembly

the main shaft assembly is installed on the base to transmit the power transmitted by the motor through the V-belt and support the rotating movement of the impeller. The main shaft assembly is composed of bearing seat, main shaft, bearing, etc

6. The base

whirling crushing chamber, main shaft assembly, motor and transmission device are all installed on the bottom seat. The structural shape of the base is that the middle part is a quadrangular space, and the center of the quadrangular space is used to install the main shaft assembly, and discharge channels are formed on both sides. Double motors are installed at both longitudinal ends of the base, and the base can be installed on the support or directly on the foundation

7. The transmission device

has over-current, over-voltage, overload and other protective devices. It adopts a belt transmission mechanism driven by a single motor or a double motor (above 75kW, double motor transmission). The two motors driven by the double motor are installed on both sides of the main shaft assembly respectively. The two motor pulleys are connected with the main shaft pulley with a belt, so that the forces on both sides of the main shaft are balanced without additional torque

8. Support

depending on the workplace of the crusher - outdoor operation or indoor operation, support or no support can be considered

9. The lubrication system

adopts Mobil vehicle grease for special centralized lubrication. The lubrication parts are the upper bearing and the lower bearing of the main shaft assembly. In order to make it convenient to inject oil, it is led to the outside of the machine with oil pipe for regular oil filling of the oil pump
